Finding Out How Airtight the Hamburg House
Chinese Media Attend Hamburg House Blower Door Test Today
Jan. 15, 2010, Shanghai — Hamburg House Blower Door Test is taken today to measure the airtightness of the Hamburg House. This is the first time for the Chinese media to be allowed to enter the Hamburg House and to talk face to face with the Hamburg House architects. The blower-door system includes three components: a calibrated fan, a door-panel system, and a device to measure fan flow and building pressure. The blower-door fan is temporarily sealed into an exterior doorway using the door-panel system and the whole test is divided into three steps:
